Cape Manza
In the early 18th century, the Ryukyu King Sho Kei praised Cape Manzamo as a location that could seat 10,000 people. That is the reason why the cape bears the name "Manzamo." The final syllable, "mo," would be rendered as "open field" in the local Okinawa dialect. And as the name suggests, Cape Manzamo has extensive fields of natural turf surrounded by a rich variety of natural flora, and as such, has earned acclaim as one of Okinawa's prized scenic attractions. The view here, of emerald-green ocean surf breaking on the precipices of elevated coral reefs, is one of breathtaking magnificence.

Shuri Castle
The Ryukyu Kingdom was established in 1429 and reigned over the Nansei Islands (Ryukyu Islands) for some 450 years, until 1879. During its reign, the kingdom developed a unique culture of its own, blending various influences through trade and commerce with China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. Shuri Castle was a majestic structure that occupied a central position in Ryukyu politics, diplomacy, and culture. It is considered to possess enormous cultural and historical value due to the unique architectural styles and stone-fortification technologies that went into its construction as a fusion of Chinese and Japanese castle-building cultures. In December 2000, Shuri Castle became the 11th landmark in Japan to earn designation as a world heritage site.

Okinawa World and Gyokusendo Cave
Here's a fun-filled spot that will delight children and adults alike. Starting with Gyokusendo Cave, the most spectacular limestone cave formation in the Orient, the Okinawa World theme park has gained broad popularity thanks to visitor comments on many buzz marketing sites. Its "Ryukyu Kingdom Village" of historical homes has earned designation as tangible cultural property while its Habu Museum Park offers visitors the chance for up-close educational encounters with Okinawa's endemic poisonous viper. Spirited "Super Eisa" performances of Okinawa's traditional Eisa dance are yet another popular attraction.
